At the University of Idaho Biodiesel Education Program, we use waste vegetable oil from campus dining services and perform the transesterification reaction to turn it into fuel. Our biodiesel production facility fuels several campus vehicles. In this video, we demonstrate how we make a batch of biodiesel for use in our fleet.
